These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Numbers & Signs mobile application and related services (the “Service”), operated by Numbers & Signs (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using Numbers & Signs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Service.

01What Numbers & Signs is — and isn’t

Numbers & Signs turns your name and birth date into numerological and astrological readings intended for personal reflection, journaling and entertainment. The readings are interpretive and are offered for reflection only. They are not a substitute for professional advice — medical, psychological, legal, financial, or otherwise. Do not rely on Numbers & Signs to make important decisions, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Numbers & Signs, and old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have the consent of a parent or guardian). By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

03Your account

The free, on-device practice — your chart, your daily reading, your journal — works without an account. A Numbers & Signs account (sign in via Apple, Google, or email) is required to subscribe to NAS Plus and to generate audio readings, so those readings stay tied to you and remain yours to replay. When you sign in, you are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in method secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at info@numbersandsigns.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

04Subscriptions, trials & billing

Numbers & Signs offers a free tier and a paid subscription, NAS Plus, sold through the Apple App Store.

• Plans. NAS Plus is offered as an annual plan (currently $29.99/year, about $2.50/month) and a monthly plan (currently $4.99/month). Prices may vary by region and may change over time.
• Free trial. The annual plan may include a 7-day free trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription and you’ll be charged. We aim to remind you before the trial ends.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing & cancelling. You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store account settings — not within Numbers & Signs. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Payments & refunds. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Purchases are subject to Apple’s terms, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.

05Audio readings & AI-generated content

Audio readings are a NAS Plus feature. To create one, Numbers & Signs sends a minimized set of details — your first name, your reduced numerology numbers or your Sun and Moon signs, a few theme words, and your chosen intent — to our service, where Anthropic (Claude) writes the reading’s script and ElevenLabs synthesizes the spoken voice. Listening to a day’s reading sends that reading’s text to ElevenLabs to voice it. The result is generated by AI and is offered for reflection and entertainment only. It is interpretive, may be inaccurate or imperfect, and is not professional advice of any kind — medical, psychological, legal, financial, or otherwise. Audio readings are provided “as is,” with no guarantee of accuracy or outcome; do not rely on them to make important decisions.

06License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Numbers & Signs on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly permits it;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content;
• use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or interfere with the app’s operation or security.

08Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, written readings, designs, the orbital mark, the “Numbers & Signs” name, and other content we provide — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Your own journal entries and content remain yours; we don’t claim ownership of them.

09Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the readings are accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your expectations. Numbers & Signs is offered for reflection and entertainment and makes no guarantee of any outcome.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Numbers & Signs and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11Termination

You may stop using Numbers & Signs and delete the app at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, note it in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, to the extent applicable, the laws of the state in which Numbers & Signs’ operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Where permitted, the courts located there will have jurisdiction over disputes — though nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
